It’s been a hell of a long time since LectroLips last graced us with their presence, having unveiled Voyeur to the masses back in April. No worries though, as the electronic duo back with another free download titled Nerdy Frames, taking a rather more subtle approach to it’s previous offering.
We’ve been big LectroLips fans ever since we came across their track What We Came For back in February. Since then they’ve become almost a cult favourite on Clixie, and we definitely don’t hide the fact that the pairing of Leo Tarring and Antony Edwards are perhaps the hottest unsigned electronic duo around right now.
We recently managed to catch up with LectroLips and in the process put a few of our own questions to them. If you missed our interview with the pair you need not worry – you can happily catch up and take a read of it here.
In good old LectroLips style, their new track Nerdy Frames as the rather perculiar title suggests takes a whole different approach to their former releases. You could easily imagine it being the perfect track for a hot summers evening, just as the sun is setting. The track has a completely relaxed aura about it, but still maintains the individuality that we’ve all come to know and love from previous LectroLips releases.
