Listen: Lana Del Rey – ‘Ride’

From a couple of homemade music videos to posing naked on the cover of GQ Magazine; Lana Del Rey now finds herself the nation’s adopted sweetheart.

But in the space of twelve months and with several awards to her name, the onetime club performer is now one of the most decorated musicians of the modern era.

Yet take Elizabeth Grant at face value and you may wonder if she’s a victim of being stuck in the wrong profession. However beneath the glitz and glamour, the 26-year-old’s eccentric personality and grandeur vocal qualities present the star-like characteristics of a diva-in-the-making.

She released her latest album, Born To Die, in January, and less than ten months on she’s set to return – bigger and better than ever before.

November 12th sees the release of Born To Die: The Paradise Edition; a deluxe version of her double platinum selling hit featuring a heap of brand new material.

Each armed with eight brand new recordings alongside special format-specific bonus material, the album will be available digitally, as part of a double CD package, on vinyl and as a limited edition box set.

The release will be accompanied by Lana’s brand new, Rick Rubin produced single Ride, which is set for release on November 11th. You can stream the single, in full, at your discretion below:
