It’s not like the Brits need another excuse to start moaning, but along come a chirpy Danish outfit with a brand new music video and all hell is likely to break loose.
And if you’re wondering what they could have possibly done that would make the natives so unhappy, do not worry – there’s no need to call the RSPCA or anything like that.
The English summer, rather unsurprisingly, left a lot to be desired, and for many a lack of sun, sea and sand has hardly helped matters.
But when the chips are down, struggling for motivation as the pale, ghost white colour of your skin offends every tourist in London, Alphabeat are certainly on hand to rekindle the summertime mood and excitement of times gone by. Let the jealousy commence.
Love Sea – the band’s new single if you were not already aware – is taken from Alphabeat’s brand new album Express Non-Stop which is set for release on September 24th.
The accompanying Love Sea music video sees Alphabeat once again spread their charming musical joy far and wide as the aptly named Alpha-Cam stops off for a visit to London’s most iconic public attractions, soaks up the rays in sunny Cannes, Manhattan and Barcelona before enjoying the moonlit skyline of The Big Apple.
Add to that a cameo appearance from all round musical legends Boy George and Nile Rodgers and you pretty much have the best music video of 2012 – and you can check it out below:
You can grab yourself a copy of the new single right this very second through iTunes.
